Michelle Jacobs
Former lab rat with doctoral work in Human Biology and Anthropology, turned Behavioral Specialist Special Education teacher for last 16 years. I freely admit Jim, the "Medicine Man" is my mentor and tutor for expanding my breadth of knowledge about all things herbal. Although I have learned a lot from him, researched a lot, experimented a lot, and I am still enjoying and learning more everyday. One of the most wonderful things I have come to have appreciation for is how amazing the natural world and how the natural world can provide what our bodies and minds need. Our goal is to learn how to responsibly use the gifts that nature gives us.
The kids of VV Farm
Three darling cuties who don't usually cheer with excitement to do the jobs of planting and weeding or picking and stripping, but nevertheless they work hard to plant, transplant, water, weed, harvest, strip and preserve the herbs we grow at Vinegar Valley. As many of our salves and teas were created with their needs (and the needs of family and friends) in mind, they have seen and felt the benefits of healing herbs. These kiddos are part of the reason there is ALWAYS Boo Boo Balm and Poison Ivy Salve in my bag at all times.
